10-year-old gives dad note that makes him quit multi-million dollar job

All it took was a note from his daughter to make the CEO of a company quit his multi-million dollar job.

Mohamed El-Erian, who headed up the investment firm Pimco, said in an essay on Worth.com that his 10-year-old daughter gave him a list of 22 important events and activities he’d missed due to work.

They included her first day of school, a Halloween parade, her first soccer match of the season.

Mohamed said he realized his job was hurting his relationship with his daughter.

Now, he works several part-time jobs — but makes his daughter breakfast and drives her to school.
