Police search for driver who struck pregnant woman’s car

FAIRVIEW PARK, Ohio – The Fairview Park Police Department is asking for the public’s help locating a hit-and-run driver who struck a pregnant woman’s car.

According to police, the North Ridgeville woman was hit by a pickup truck around 11 p.m. Monday, Sept 15 while traveling westbound on I-480.

According to the police report, the victim said the other driver failed to yield while merging into her lane, struck her car and caused her to lose control.

The woman’s car then flipped onto its roof and slid several hundred feet.

The victim was taken to Fairview Hospital and treated for non life-threatening injuries.
