CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Foundation said all free tickets for the Goodtime III Weekends on the Water were claimed Friday.

“While our website did go down due to the overwhelming interest in the tickets, people were able to reserve tickets by calling Ticketmaster or going directly to Ticketmaster’s website. All 6,000 tickets were reserved within 45 minutes,” the Cleveland Foundation said.

The tickets went up for grabs beginning at 11 a.m.

The event is the Cleveland Foundation’s September gift that was announced first on Fox 8 News in the Morning Tuesday.

The hour-long cruises will take place on Sept. 13 and Sept. 28 at 9 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The Cleveland Foundation, a charity organization created by and for the community, has offered a “gift” to the public for each month of 2014 to celebrate its centennial.
