The Cleveland Division of Police announced Monday that Jerome Lee was indicted for aggravated vehicular homicide and felony hit skip.

The charges stem from the October 2013 incident that left Israel Thornton dead.

The boy was trying to catch the school bus when he was struck near the intersection of West 37th Street and Denison Avenue in Cleveland.

An older cousin was with him at the time.  The driver never stopped.

Police said a tip led them to Lee.

He was being held in the county jail in connection with unrelated crimes.
