CLEVELAND, Ohio — The Cleveland Gladiators continued their winning ways Saturday night in the first round of the AFL playoffs.

It was a wild finish. The Soul and the Gladiators were tied at 29 in the fourth when Gladiators quarterback Shane Austin gave his team a touchdown lead.

The Soul fought back. Dan Radabaugh found a wide open Emery Sammons over the middle. He went all the way, and the Soul converted a 2-point conversion for a 37-36 lead.

But as time expired, Aaron Pettrey booted the 36-yard field goal advancing the Gladiators to a 39-37 win.
