Homeowners in Los Angeles found a new way to keep lawns looking their best: paint.

According to MyFoxPhilly.com, once the grass is painted it no longer needs to be watered or mowed.

The paint is particularly useful when there are water sanctions.

The cost is about $275 for 1,000 square feet, MyFoxPhilly.com reported.

After the initial spray, another paint job will be needed in about three months.
