A 14-second video was reportedly posted by a jittery passenger on Malaysia Airlines Flight MH17 before it was shot down, killing 298 people.
According to The Star, the video was captured and posted to Instagram — and later reposted to YouTube — by passenger Md Ali Md Salim before the flight took off. It shows passengers settling in for the flight.
Salim wrote in the video caption that he was feeling nervous.
The Star reports that Salim was reportedly a college student on his way home to celebrate Hari Raya, which is the end of the fasting month Ramadan.
The Boeing 777 he was on fell from the sky near the town of Torez in the Donetsk region of eastern Ukraine. The United States has concluded a missile shot down the plane, but hasn’t pinpointed who was responsible, a senior U.S. official told CNN’s Barbara Starr.
