Police dogs have been known to sniff out explosives or track the scent of a suspect.

Now they’re being used to combat the possession of child pornography.

According to the Providence Journal, a police dog in Rhode Island can sniff out devices with memory cards.

That includes hard drives, thumb drivers and other gadgets that may contain explicit material.

It reportedly took the dog 22 months to learn his trade which he now performs in exchange for food.
