It only took a blue crayon to craft a very convincing argument regarding a man’s vacation time. And it seemingly came from a child.

A girl named Katie championed the cause with a few short sentences.

According to The Blaze, she wrote a note that said:

“Dear Google Worker. Can you please make sure when daddy goes to work, he gets one day off. Like he can get a day off on Wednesday.”

At the end, she drove her message home.

“P.S. It is daddy’s BIRTHDAY! P.P.S. It is summer, you know.”

The Blaze reported Google responded with a formal letter granting the request, and more. The worker was given the entire first week of July as vacation time.

The Blaze also said a Google spokesperson confirmed the letter was authentic.
