The Indians losing skid has reached 4 games. Team Streak is at it again, but not in a good way.

Veteran pitcher Justin Masterson lasted 2 innings, giving up 5 runs, while walking 4 batters.

Cleveland took a 2-0 lead in the top of the second inning on a Carlos Santana two-run homer.

Boston answered in the bottom of that frame as A.J. Pierzynski doubled to center to plate a pair of runs. Boston got another run when Jackie Bradley tripled home Pierzynski. Cleveland tied the game in the top of the third when Michael Brantley doubled home Asdrubal Cabrera.

Things became unhinged later that inning as Mike Napoli doubled into the right field corner to score two runs and the Red Sox never looked back.

In the 7th inning, the Red Sox’s Dustin Pedroia doubled in 2 runs for a 7-3 lead.

Boston continued to pour on the offense, adding two more runs in that seventh inning and a single run in the 8th for double digit runs.

Boston won handily, 10-3.

The same two teams play Saturday afternoon.
