SYRACUSE, Utah — A minor who took his grandfather’s car led police on a chase caught on video, speeding through a park filled with children.
According to KSTU, police said the 14-year-old’s grandfather reported his car stolen, and the chase began after the car was spotted by a tipster.
At one point, the boy drives the car through grass and over sidewalks, nearly hitting children in a park.
When it appeared the boy was going to drive through the park again, the driver of a truck pulled his vehicle into his way so he wouldn’t hit any children.
The teen was taken to juvenile detention.
