Texas -- An elderly teacher in Texas was pushed to the ground after a confrontation with a student over a cell phone.

According to KHOU, it involved 66-year-old substitute teacher Beverly Round.

Officials at Nimitz High School said it all happened after she confiscated a cell phone from a 16-year-old male student. Cell phone video shows the teen pushing her, knocking her to the floor to get his phone back.

Other kids in the class appear to laugh when she falls. But the teenager was arrested shortly after the incident, and now faces a charge of injury to the elderly.

Round was substituting that day, but had been a teacher for several years. She's had two knee surgeries and other health problems, but still likes to be in the classroom.

She is OK after being treated for minor injuries.
