Stunned: 31-Year-Old Accused of Posing as High School Sophomore
Teachers and students at an East Texas high school were stunned to find out something about a person they thought was a teenage girl.
According to KLTV, police say Charity Johnson posed as high school sophomore Charity Stevens; but they said she’s not 15; she’s 31 years old.
Police arrested her Sunday night. She’s accused of using a fake name and date of birth to enroll at the school where she’s been a student since October 2013.
KLTV reported that a family took in Charity after she claimed she came from an abusive family and they believed her story.
