Body Found in Lake Erie Believed to Be 4th Missing Boater

OTTAWA COUNTY, Ohio — Authorities say a body found in Lake Erie is believed to be that of the fourth victim from the April 17 boating accident.

The body has been taken to the Lucas County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy and identification, according to authorities.

Four boaters went missing during the accident.

Two females, Amy Santus, 33, of Perrysburg; and Paige Widmer, 17, who was visiting from South Carolina, were recovered in Lake Erie right after the accident.

The body of a third boater, Bryan Huff, was found this past week in Lake Erie.
