CLEVELAND — University Hospitals is offering the community free screenings for Stroke Awareness Month.

Stroke Awareness Month is held each May, and UH has scheduled several dates and screening times.

Below is a list of stroke screening dates, times and locations:

No appointments are necessary to attend a stroke screening.

Strokes are the fourth leading cause of death in the United States, and one of the leading causes of serious long-term disability.
