Startling Video Shows Officer Tripping Students After Soccer Win

TEXAS– As students celebrated, a police officer could be seen tripping and pushing several teens as they rushed onto the field after a soccer match.

KXAN reported that it happened after Vandegrift High School’s win in the University Interscholastic League championship game on Saturday. It was caught on video by several people.

Georgetown Police Chief Wayne Nero told KXAN, “After personally watching the videos, the actions of my officer are very concerning to me as well.”

The police officer has been placed on leave pending an investigation.
