Even if you can’t be at Zydrunas Ilgauskas’ jersey retirement ceremony during tonight’s Cleveland Cavaliers game, you can still take home a piece of history.

Beginning at 5:30 p.m., fans can bid on game-worn shooting shirts signed by Ilgauskas and other current Cavs players as well as game-worn autographed jerseys with the Zydrunas Ilgauskas patch.

Fans must register for their chance to bid. The auction will close at 6 p.m. on March 9. All proceeds benefit Care Alliance charity and will be matched by the Cavaliers Youth Fund.

Doors open for Saturday’s game at 5:30 p.m., and a special, one-time only player introduction video will be played to commemorate the ceremony. The halftime ceremony will include a 3-D video image of key moments in Ilgauskas’ NBA career.

All fans at the game will also receive a special t-shirt in Ilgauskas’ honor.

Ilgauskas, affectionately called “Z” by Cavs fans, will have his #11 jersey hung from the rafters inside Quicken Loans Arena. The 7’3″ center hails from Lithuania and was drafted by the Cavs in the first round of the 1996 draft.

Z’s former teammate, LeBron James, is expected to be at tonight’s game. He tweeted well wishes for his friend this morning.
