Ramp Opened After Overturned Semi Spills Fuel

CLEVELAND –The I-71/SR 176 northbound ramp to I-90 westbound was reopened Monday afternoon after an accident involving a semi truck.

It had tipped on its side around 11:45 a.m.

According to Cleveland Division of Fire spokesperson Larry Gray, the truck had also spilled some 100 gallons of diesel fuel.

ODOT closed the ramp from I-71/SR 176 north to I-90 west. The road was reopened shortly after 4 p.m. Monday, however, ODOT officials said the right shoulder would remain closed.

No injuries were reported.
