VERMILION, Oh -Several areas are dealing with severe flooding which is causing evacuations and road closures across Northeast Ohio.

Riverside Drive in Vermilion is now completely underwater and residents were evacuated Saturday morning.

Officials are now warning about a severe ice jam on the Vermilion River near Mill Hollow/Bacon Woods North Ridge Road in Vermilion. People are being asked to stay away from these areas because it can be extremely dangerous.

Flooding from ice jams are also happening along the Huron River. Some roads near the river were close early Saturday morning. Officials warn that river levels are constantly changing as the jams move and break up.

Drivers are warned to be cautious at night when it is harder to see if a road is flooded.
