Cleveland Officers Injured, 1 Arrested in Hit-Skip

CLEVELAND, Ohio — A Cleveland police cruiser was struck by a hit-skip driver Friday night, and the officers involved were injured.

According to police, it happened at 10:50 p.m. at East 93rd Street and Kinsman.

The suspect was found at East 116th Street and Kinsman and taken into custody shortly after.

According to police, officers involved in the accident suffered injuries and were treated and released from the hospital. Their cruiser sustained heavy damage.

The 24-year-old suspect was arrested on charges of OVI, hit-skip, failure to control and no license.

    I DON’T CARE WHEN THESE IDIOT’S ARE DRIVING AND HIT SOME ONE AND THEY HAVE NO LICENSE THEY SHOULD NEVER BE ALLOWED TO GET AN OHIO LICENSE FOR THE REST OF THEIR LIFE..!!!

    More unlicensed drivers speeding and running traffic controls. It seems like the area has more people without a license than those who do.

    You know what cops have a hell of a job to do, and if they get hurt on the job guess what they have worked for workers comp,so how do you figure your paying for it?, and lets not forget when shit goes down who do you call and expect to be right there for you!!
