My Town: Medieval Festival Family Day at CMA

CANTON, Ohio — The Canton Museum of Art is inviting families to travel back in time for its Medieval Festival Family Day.

The Canton Museum of Art and the Society of Creative Anachronism are hosting Medieval Festival Family Day on Saturday, February 8, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. The event will be held at the Cultural Center for the Arts at the museum.

The event is free and includes storytelling, period costumes, music, dancing, calligraphy and arts, heavy weapon combat and medieval period foods.

The Medieval Festival is one of several events hosted by the museum celebrating the Illuminating the Word: The Saint John’s Bible exhibit. The exhibit will be available for viewing through March 2, and admission is free during the Medieval Festival.
