CLEVELAND — A local school has announced its annual concert in honor of Black History Month.

The Cleveland School of the Arts will be hosting its 23rd Annual Black Heritage Concert on Sunday, January 26 at 4 p.m. at the Cleveland Institute of Music.

The event is free and the public is welcome to attend.

The concert will feature performances from the Cleveland School of the Art’s R. Nathaniel Dett Choir Orchestra and JazzArt Ensemble including stories of the lives of Harriet Tubman and Sojourner Truth. The concert will also host a tribute to Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington and Mary Lou Williams.
