Woman Forced Into Home at Gunpoint, 1 Arrested

CLEVELAND, Ohio — One arrest was made after Cleveland police said a woman was forced into her home at gunpoint Wednesday night.

According to police, officers were called to the home in the 2000th block of East 80th Street at around 9 p.m.

The female victim said she was returning home when she was approached by two men wearing masks in her driveway. The males forced the victim inside at gunpoint and began to burglarize the home, according to police.

Officers arrived at the scene and arrested one of the suspects, a 17-year-old male. The second suspect fled on foot.

Police said the victim and her son, who was home at the time of the incident, were not injured.
