My Town: Rock Hall to Host Free MLK Day Events

CLEVELAND — The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum is celebrating the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with its annual host of free events.

The 13th annual celebration will kick off Monday, January 20 from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Several groups will perform on the museum’s Main Stage, including the Antioch Spiritual Arts Choir, the Distinguished Gentlemen of Spoken Word, Macey Sampson and other performers.

Below is a tentative schedule of events:

10:30am:  PROGRAM:  Cleveland Is the City:  A Family Educational Session

11:30am:  PROGRAM:  Radio Disney “D-Tour” Show

11:30am:  FILM: Dr. Martin Luther King’s “I Have A Dream” Speech

12:15pm:  PROGRAM:  Rock and Roll and Civil Rights

12:45pm:  PERFORMANCE:  Macey Sampson

1:45pm:  PERFORMANCE:  Inspire*1*One

2:00pm:  PROGRAM:  Cleveland Is the City:  A Family Educational Session

2:45pm:  PERFORMANCE:  The Distinguished Gentlemen of the Spoken Word

3:00pm:  FILM: The Night James Brown Saved Boston

3:45pm:  PERFORMANCE:  Antioch Spiritual Arts Choir
