ELYRIA, Ohio – Less than 20 people remain without natural gas after an outage in the Elyria – North Ridgeville area, according to Columbia Gas.

The places that still don’t have service are vacant homes, and homes that are up for sale or rent.

Columbia Gas said it is working to contact property owners in order to restore service.

An interruption from a pipeline to a distribution center caused the outage on Monday night, according to Columbia Gas.

Columbia Gas would like to remind customers that they are the only ones who are allowed to relight appliances for safety purposes.
