Lorain County – Rural Lorain County Water Authority has issued a boil water advisory for some of its customers.

RLCWA is asking that people boil their water for at least a minute before drinking, cooking, brushing their teeth, making ice, or for any cleaning equipment that contacts food.

The advisory affects those that live on Hidden Oaks Drive and Crocker’s Landing Subdivision in Columbia Township, and Willow Creek Subdivision in Eaton Township.

The City of Vermilion is also under a boil alert until further notice due to low pressure from water main breaks in the city.

RLCWA asks that people wait for a new update before resuming their normal water service.
