Painesville, Ohio - One woman is unaccounted for after a multi-family home catches fire on East South Street in Painesville.

The Painesville Fire Chief said it's unclear where the woman is. Firefighters started a search of the home, but had to back out due to the fire. Everyone else is said to have gotten out of the house safely.

The fire chief said the weather is making it difficult for firefighters to fight the blaze, and one chief's job is solely to keep tabs on the firefighters. They called in mutual aid because of weather conditions.

Firefighters said they were dealing with a water pressure issue initially.

Police have closed down East South Street between Liberty and South Street. They are on scene re-directing traffic.
