Cleveland Returning Back to Normal After Cold Snap

CLEVELAND – As temperatures continue to climb things are getting back to normal in Cleveland.

Recreation centers will be open until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and then transition back into its normal hours.

The Emergency Operations Center will also remain active to monitor weather conditions.

The Division of Streets is reporting that roads are in good condition.

All city staff returned to regularly scheduled hours on Wednesday.

Waste collection also resumed Wednesday morning. There was a one day delay in pick-up.If your normal collection day is Wednesday, your trash will be picked up on Thursday.

As temperatures increase, the city of Cleveland expects an increase in water main breaks. Crews repaired 11 water main breaks on Tuesday.
