VERMILION, Ohio — A boil alert issued for Vermilion Wednesday due to a number of water main breaks in the city has been lifted.

City officials had advised residents boil all water for one minute for cleaning and cooking.

Restaurants and the food service industry were also told to have potable water to cook, clean, serve or wash hands.

Those guidelines have now been lifted.
