CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Cavaliers were once again without Kyrie Irving for a third-straight game. Despite a late rally in the 4th quarter, the home team dropped its eighth one in nine games, 82-78.

The Pacers were ahead by 16 in the fourth when Dion Waiters brought momentum to the Cavs with a 16-1 run to bring Cleveland to within one point with 3:35 left.

A Pacers free throw put them up 81-78, helping them to the win and the best record in the NBA.

The Cavs will try again at The Q on Tuesday against the 76ers.
