CLEVELAND — They’re sworn to protect and serve, and Thursday night, the City of Cleveland recognized some of its finest police officers.

Mayor Frank Jackson, Police Chief Michael McGrath and many others were on hand for the police awards ceremony.

Officers, and even some civilians, were recognized for outstanding contributions to the city.

Each officer that was singled out received awards, as well as certificates of appreciation and recognition.

We need a more militarized police in cleveland. Did you guys see how nice public square was during navy week. Not a thug in sight. It turns out thugs don’t like heavy artillery. Cleveland will become Detroit unless the police cracks down.
