Mother Killed in Bratenahl Crash

VILLAGE OF BRATENAHL, OH — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a crash that killed a mother Tuesday evening.

According to authorities, the woman’s son, Robert Louis Dunn, Jr., 22, was driving a 2000 Ford Explorer east on Interstate 90 around 7:38 p.m. when he abruptly went off the side of the road and struck a curb, construction sign and fence before the vehicle overturned. The vehicle came to rest on its wheels.

The sole passenger, his mother, Felicia Dunn, 47, was not wearing her seat belt and was ejected during the crash. She was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center where she died from her injuries.

Her son told authorities he was wearing his seat belt.

Authorities are currently investigating why Robert Dunn abruptly went off the road.
