OSU Ranked No. 2 in BCS Standings
Ohio State is ranked No. 2 just behind Florida State and is in a possible position to play in the BCS National Championship Game on January 6, according to the BCS standings released Sunday evening.
With just one week to go before the final championship game pairings, Florida State holds the No. 1 spot closely followed by the Buckeyes. Auburn and Alabama rank No. 3 and No. 4 respectively.
Ohio State will head to Indianapolis Saturday to face Michigan State in the Big Ten Championship Game. If Florida State defeats Duke in the ACC Championship Game, both the Buckeyes and the Seminoles are likely to advance to the BCS National Championship Game in Pasadena.
Should either team lose, a door will open for the winner of the SEC Championship Game between No. 3 Auburn and No. 5 Missouri.
