Forget Sunday delivery. What about half-hour delivery?

Amazon’s founder and CEO Jeff Bezos says he plans to get customers their products only a half-hour after they make a purchase with a drone-based delivery system named Prime Air.

Bezos says he estimates that Prime Air will be available sometime within the next 4 to 5 years, according to the Huffington Post.

Bezos revealed the secret project on a recent episode of “60 Minutes.”

The delivery drones will be able to deliver items up to 5 pounds, which Bezos says accounts for about 86 percent of the items Amazon delivers.

Amazon is still working on safety testing and FAA approvals before Prime Air drones will be permitted to take flight.
