FNTD Playoff Edition: Division II Tussles

Friday Night Touchdown Commissioner Dan Coughlin put on his hat and headed to Akron where the Highland Hornets held off the Massillon Tigers for a 17-14 victory.

Highland was led by running back Alex Harris who rushed for 112 yards and a touchdown.  Quarterback Bruce Kinsey had  75 yards on the ground and passed for 110 yards.

The Hornets have won 16 straight games and will hope to stay in the win column as they'll face the Avon Eagles.

He also covered the Madison Blue Streaks and Brecksville-Broadview Heights Bees.  The Blue Streaks upset the Bees 22-21.  Madison's Brandon Davis led the charge with 137 yards on the ground.  The Blue Streak defense held Tim Tupa to 127 yards on the ground.

Madison will now face Glenville at a site to be determined.
