STRONGSVILLE, Ohio – Santa Claus made his big arrival to SouthPark Mall Wednesday evening.

Hundreds of kids showed up to help wake the big guy up from his long nap with a pajama party. Mrs. Claus was there to give the kids a little help.

Santa’s friends also joined in on the fun. Frosty the Snowman, Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer, and the Cleveland Indians Hot Dogs were there.

The Parker family from Brunswick dressed up in matching pajamas to get into the holiday spirit.

“The kids love it. They get excited. They really do like to wake up Santa Claus, and it gets everybody in the Christmas spirit,” said Christie Parker.

Santa will switch out of his pajamas on Thursday, and will begin to wear his traditional suit.

Santa will be sitting under the Magical Memories Clock Tower at SouthPark Mall until Christmas Eve, when he takes off to deliver toys all over the world.
