Toys ‘R’ Us will be one of the first retailers to open for Black Friday.

Toys’ R’ Us announced Monday that it will open at 5 p.m. on Thanksgiving for Black Friday shoppers. All stores will then remain open throughout the day on Friday.

This isn’t the first time the toy retailer opened early for the annual shopping holiday. Last year, Toys ‘R’ Us was criticized for opening at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving.

The early opening time was advertised in a 28-page catalog full of door-buster deals that was published on Monday.

I think it is terribly sad that stores are open on the day that Americans have set aside for giving Thanks for what we have in America. I will never shop this store or any other, that makes people go to work on this national holiday we call Thanksgiving Day!!

Walmart will follow suit eventually. Its all about the almighty dollar. Holidays just arn’t the same anymore. Its such a shame to because you know the people making these decisions are home with their families giving thanks on a holiday that comes around once a year and was made for sharing time with family and friends not shopping.
