Soldier’s Body Returns Home as Services are Set

CLEVELAND–The body of Army Specialist Angel Lopez returned home to Cleveland Monday morning.

Family gathered at Burke Lakefront Airport.

The 27-year-old was killed Oct. 5 while serving in Afghanistan; he was to return home in 30 days.

Lopez had been stationed in Kentucky where he lived with his wife and children.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Craciun Berry Funeral Home in Cleveland.

Services will be held at noon Wednesday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church with interment at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
