Cleveland Flight Makes Emergency Landing

BUFFALO, NY — A flight from Cleveland was forced to make an emergency landing in Buffalo Sunday afternoon.

According to WIVB, the Chautauqua Airlines flight operating as United Express departed Cleveland and was scheduled to land in Boston at 12:18 p.m.

Crews reported smoke in the cockpit and pilots diverted the flight to Buffalo Niagara International Airport.

The flight, carrying 34 passengers and 3 crew members, landed safely. The cause of the smoke has not been determined.
