Police: Man Who Stole 5 Wedding Rings Arrested

WICKLIFFE, Ohio– Police said they arrested a man accused of robbing a Cleveland jewelry store over the weekend.

Wickliffe police said at 2:45 a.m., Sunday morning, they noticed a man walking along Euclid Ave., wearing a sweatshirt with the hood tied tightly around his head.

They said they stopped him because of recent burglaries in the city.

Police said they found five wedding rings in his pocket.

The suspect, identified as Tyrell Conner, 28, of Cleveland, ran off but was then tazed and arrested.

He allegedly took the jewelry from Young’s Jewelry on Puritas Avenue in Cleveland on Saturday.

The rings are worth $17,400.

Conner was charged with obstruction, resisting arrest, receiving stolen property and theft.
