CLEVELAND — The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force announced Monday that U.S. Marshals and the Cleveland Division of Police are searching for a man accused of shaking his baby.

A reward was offered for tips leading to Jimmie White’s capture.

On May 20, White was alone with his 2-month-old when he called 911 to report the child was unresponsive.

EMS responded and took the baby to the hospital.  White left the scene before police arrived, officials said.

Doctors determined the baby suffered injuries consistent with shaken baby syndrome.

White, 35, is wanted for aggravated assault.  He is known to frequent the area of East 30th and Woodland in Cleveland and also has ties to Maple Heights.
