Kent State Warns Students After Attack

KENT-The Kent State Police Department is searching for the person responsible for attacking and robbing a Kent State University student.

According to the university’s website, a male student reported being robbed and attacked September 15, between 1:30-2:30 a.m in an unspecific location on or near the western portion of the Kent Campus.

The student reportedly suffered memory loss resulting from head injuries and also reported some personal items were missing.

A description of the suspect is not available at this time.

The university posted the following on their website, “The safety of our faculty, staff, students and visitors is our first priority at Kent State. Kent State Police will continue to have a patrol presence in the area. Besides the presence of the Kent State Police Department, security aides are available to provide escorts across campus each night between 8 p.m. and 4 a.m.”
