LOS ANGELES–“Well, crap.” Jeff Daniels seemed to be channeling Harry Dunne instead of Will McAvoy in the first couple words of his acceptance speech, Sunday night.

Daniels won an Emmy for ‘Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series’ for his performance in The Newsroom.

But, after the big win, Daniels was talking about a role that is probably the furthest thing from his character in The Newsroom: He was talking ‘Dumb and Dumber To.’

That’s the sequel he just started filming with actor Jim Carrey.

According to Huffington Post, he told people in the Emmys press room, that some things they are doing in the sequel will make the toilet scene in the first movie look lame.

Daniels, 58, starred with Carrey in ‘Dumb and Dumber’ in 1994.

The sequel will likely be released in 2014.
