Troopers said it’s believed to be worth more than $90,000.

The OSHP said they stopped a car with Michigan registration for following too closely to someone on the Ohio Turnpike in Erie County on Sept. 18.

Troopers said they smelled marijuana coming from the car. The passenger turned over a small bag of pot.

During a search of the car, they discovered three suitcases full of marijuana.

They also found Hydrocodone pills and two jars of suspected hashish.

Authorities said the driver, Jay A. Clower, 36, of Michigan and passenger, Ryan N. Renusch, 23, of North Carolina, were each charged with possession and trafficking in marijuana.

If convicted, each faces up to 10 years in prison and up to a $20,000 fine.
