Swisher’s ‘Thank You’ Fireworks Set for Saturday

CLEVELAND — Indians fans will get to enjoy one last blast thanks to Nick Swisher.

The first baseman is sponsoring a “Thank You Tribe Town” fan appreciation fireworks show Saturday.

It will be the 17th and final fireworks display at Progressive Field this season.

The show will feature fireworks along with songs and artists with Ohio and Cleveland ties.Swisher, who spent his childhood in Columbus, picked the themed music to which the fireworks will be set.

Songs include “Seven Nation Army” by The White Stripes, the “OSU Battle Cry Fight Song,” “My Town” by Michael Stanley and songs by the Grammy award-winning group the Black Keys, which formed in Akron.

The game begins at 6:05 p.m. when the Indians take on Houston.
