CLEVELAND — The Indians were looking to start another win streak at home with the Houston Astros Friday in their quest for the wildcard spot. Mother Nature arrived in the 7th inning, but in the end, it was the rain that helped lead the Tribe to the win column.

Zac McAllister got the start for the Indians. The Tribe got off to a big defensive start right off the bat in the 1st inning, thanks to a diving catch by Michael Bourn.

In the 4th inning, the Indians were tied with the Astros 1-1 when the Tribe was able to take advantage of not one, but two Houston errors for the go-ahead run.

That was all she wrote for the teams, as rain and thunder moved in during the bottom of the 7th.

Crews called it a complete game a little over an hour after the official rain delay start time.

With the win and a Rangers loss, the Indians move into the wildcard spot.
