Search for Woman in Meth Lab Explosion
SPRINGFIELD TOWNSHIP, Ohio– Authorities are looking for a woman in connection with a meth lab explosion that they said left one man severely burned and endangered her three children.
Springfield Township police said warrants have been issued for Amanda Sue Garrison, 31.
According to a press release, officers responded to a home on Gowanda Ave. on Sept. 14 for a report of a suspected meth lab.
Police discovered an active lab that had caught fire the night before.
Garrison was believed to have taken a man to the hospital who was burned. She reportedly left her three children inside the contaminated home all alone.
The children are now in protective custody.
Garrison faces charges of illegal assembly of chemicals, endangering children and tampering with evidence.
