Concerned Caller Leads to Marijuana Bust Worth $80,000
HURON COUNTY, Ohio– Someone who called the Huron County Sheriff’s Office helped authorities bust a marijuana-growing operation worth about $80,000.
Monday night, a deputy, working on that call from a concerned person, found and confiscated 80 marijuana plants on Bauman Road.
Authorities said earlier this year, concern from neighbors led to a BCI helicopter flyover; but, the marijuana couldn’t be seen by air.
The Huron County Sheriff’s Office said, thanks to concerned citizens, none of the marijuana will hit the streets of Huron County.
They remind everyone to be aware of suspicious or abnormal activity and let authorities know about it.
