STOW, Ohio — Kent State University is hosting its annual aviation fair in honor of the industry’s vast history.

The 17th annual Aviation Heritage Fair will be held Saturday, September 14 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Kent State University Airport in Stow, Ohio. The fair is presented by the university’s Aeronautics Program, and supported by the Cleveland Airport System.

This year’s fair will feature World War II Veterans as speakers, and visitors will be able to view several historical planes including a B-25, the C-123 and an SNJ.

Modern aircraft that will be on display include the Cleveland Clinic helicopter, Fox 8’s own Skyfox chopper and several others.

Admission and parking for the fair is free. Plane rides are $25 per person, and $70 for a group of three and begin at 8 a.m.
