Authorities said Jayden Nicole Thomas, 13, and Braxton Michael Edward Wood, 14, have been missing for almost two weeks.

They are believed to be driving a 2005 black Ford Explorer.

They may be headed to a friend’s home in Florida.

The parents told ABC News the teens had an intense relationship and they believe they ran away together.

Hours before they disappeared, Jayden’s mother said she told her daughter that their six-month relationship had become too serious.

The couple was set to start their freshman year at different high schools this week.

The family said the teens took off with only about $80.
